Design & Structural Features
High-Rigidity Frame & A-Frame Column
The VMC1200II is engineered with a robust frame cast entirely from high-grade gray iron, providing industry-leading vibration damping and structural mass. The column utilizes a precision-mounted herringbone and cross-ribbed “A-shape” geometry, boosting torsional stiffness and minimizing spindle deflection. The centrally mounted spindle head travels on dual high-precision roller linear guides for smooth, accurate vertical movement.
High-Precision Linear Guideway System
Heavy-duty PMI guideways on all three axes ensure fluid positioning and high-speed rapids, maintaining tight tolerances over extended production cycles.
Belt-Driven Spindle, Upgradeable to 12,000 RPM Direct Drive
The standard belt-driven spindle covers general milling and drilling work up to 8,000 rpm. Shops running high-speed finishing or hard-milling work can step up to the direct drive spindle option above — it eliminates the vibration and power loss of a belt drive and adds an integrated oil cooling system for thermal stability on long runs.
24+1-Station Arm Type Automatic Tool Changer (ATC)
The cam-driven ATC delivers fast, reliable tool changes with the magazine positioned outside the machining zone for a clean cutting environment. A twin-bearing arm and integrated sensors ensure stable, consistent operation.

Larger Table and Rotary Table Capacity
The V12 steps up to a 1,300 x 600mm table and a wider range of 4th-axis rotary tables and tailstocks than the V8 and V10 — including the larger ø320mm units, suited to bigger or heavier workholding setups.
Chip Management & Automation
Internal and rear flushing handles chip removal from the machining zone. The machine includes an interface for 4th-axis rotary tables and automated tool management systems, making it automation-ready from the factory floor.
